Research Affairs DAR

Research Affairs

Research Affairs DAR implements policies defined by the Vice Presidency of Academic Affairs. The core services are to provide implementation tools through the following three units:

  • Grants Office (Grants) provides grant-related information as well as pre-award and FP7 post-award administrative supports for researchers. Grant Office is also responsible for disseminating EPFL's research policy to faculty.

  • Office for Funding and Acquisition of Research Equipment (FAR)  does installation of new professors and tenure track assistant professors. The office also handles acquisition or renewal of scientific equipments.

  • Interinstitutional Projects Office (SPI) assists the research programs with their finances and administration. It offers various platforms for research managers to share their experiences and knowledge.

The Research Affairs works closely with the Research Dean's office (DRE) to support its mission and provide necessary coordinations and implementations.
